Naxos
Naxos Music Library is the worldΒ΄s largest online classical music library, with over 800 new CDs are added to the library every month. The library offers the complete Naxos catalogue plus the complete catalogues or selected titles from over 650 record labels. Along with classical music, jazz, world, and pop/rock are also represented. The contents can be searched by composer, work, genre and label, or by keyword search. Naxos also provides liner notes for many recordings. Listeners can create personalized playlists or use predefined Naxos playlists.

Search Omni for recordings.
To search Omni to identify recordings:
- enter keywords, e.g., composer, title, subject, instrument, opus number, etc.
- Note: the more different keywords you use, the fewer the results
- from the results page, click on "Audio" under "Resource Type"
- many of the results will be "available online," available from one of the streaming sources listed above
- physical items:
- compact disc at the designated call number on the 4th floor
- phonograph (LP), stored in the Annex, you can request this material
- Laurier students may borrow listening materials for class presentations. A note from a member of Laurier Faculty is required. Loan period is 24 hours, with no renewal
- Laurier faculty may borrow listening materials for one-week, except for materials on Reserve
