Brantford

As of September 25, 2018, for cane users the exterior wall to automatic front doors is long and straight. Large potted plants are landmarks for nearing door entrance.

The Laurier community can find library services and collections at the Brantford campus in the Digital Library and Learning Commons in Grand River Hall and the Brantford Public Library.

Overview

Students and faculty will find library resources and services at two physical locations at the Brantford Campus:

  • the Digital Library and Learning Commons in Grand River Hall: librarians and study spaces
  • the Brantford Public Library: library collections and study spaces

Building Spaces

Digital Library and Learning Commons

Located on lower level of Grand River Hall at 171 Colborne Street

For summer 2024, Grand River Hall requires a One Card to access the building.

The DLLC space features study areas, computer work stations, access to electronic resources, a public access computer for alumni, and on-site librarians trained to help students and faculty members with their research.

Please note: for summer 2024, study space at the Digital Library and Learning Commons is currently available for students and faculty rather than the general public or Alumni. If summer access is needed for accessibility purposes, please contact the library's accessibility staff. Access to the Gaming Library is suspended at this time.
