The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is a 34 country organization (see list below), created to promote economic stability & democracy in its member states, but also in developing countries. To help it analyze how well countries are doing, the OECD collects and publishes statistics and reports on many social and economic issues. The OECD iLibrary contains full-text books, journal articles, reports (e.g. OECD FactBook), statistical tables and working papers. Depending on the subject matter, information can be found on over 100 countries. Statistical databases provide statistics and data in a variety of subject areas, available for download in Excel or comma separated file format. Themes include Agriculture, Development, Education and Skills, Emerging Economies, Employment, Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development, Finance and Investment, General Economics, Governance, Industry & Trade, National Accounts, Nuclear Energy, Science and Information Technology, Social Issues, Taxation, Territorial Economy, Transition Economies and Transport.
