Google Scholar
This is a freely available search engine that emphasizes scholarly information, particularly in the sciences and technology. Information is drawn from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities. The "cited by" links are especially useful for items not listed in Web of Science, the traditional citation index.
Indexed material can be searched for using the usual Google basic keyword searching but for Advanced Search, click on the small arrow inside the search box on the right. Before using information, check the source; for example, an article may be available in several versions, from draft to final form as published in a journal.
This link should automatically display "Get it @ Laurier" links for some results in Google Scholar. If this doesn't happen or you'd like it to display these links by signing into your Google account on Google Scholar, go into the Google Scholar "Settings" and "Library Links" to select the one for "Wilfrid Laurier University".
