You can borrow books, music scores, educational kits, CDs and much more. See Borrowing Services for details.

Research Assistant Training
Help your Research Assistants become more efficient and effective in searching and finding the right information that you need.

Research Data Management
The Library provides a variety of RDM services, including:
- One-on-one training and consultation services for writing data management plans with DMP Assistant. These services help satisfy DMP-related requirements from Tri-Agency and many other grant bodies.
- Data deposit and data curation services with its Dataverse repository that will provide a home for your data findings and meet your Tri-Agency data deposit requirements.

Laurier Archives
Laurier Archives and Special Collections is the Library's research collection of archival records, thematic special collections, and rare books, with emphases on Wilfrid Laurier University, the environmental conservation movement in Canada, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada and its Eastern Synod, music in Kitchener-Waterloo, and the history of Waterloo Region.

Digital Projects and Curation
The Library is cultivating an environment that provides consultations to faculty or students wishing to conduct research involving digital technology including research in Digital Humanities.

Teaching Support
Library Instruction
Librarians can work with you to integrate library research into your courses. For example, they can:
- Develop and deliver in-class workshops (online or on-campus).
- Help you design research-based assignments.
- Create customized online course guides, video tutorials, etc.
- Offer personalized support from within your MyLearningSpace course.

Course Reserves
Send your syllabus or a list of course resources to libreserves@wlu.ca so the Library can create virtual course reserves for students.
Visit Open Educational Resources (OERs) if you’re interested in teaching and learning materials that reside in the public domain and/or have been released under an open license. These resources (both physical and digital) are available at no cost and have minimal restrictions for use and redistribution.

Digital Humanities and Pedagogy Partnership
The Library offers a Digital Humanities and Pedagogy Partnership Program that assists faculty in integrating digital humanities into course curricula. This program enhances students’ technological proficiency and supports new approaches to pedagogy.

Library Makerspace
Our Library Makerspace hosts workshops in 3D design, sewing, electronics, video editing, knitting and much more. We have piloted successful integrations with a variety of courses in partnership with faculty.
