This is a collection of the electronic titles in the Very Short Introductions series which are concise introductions, written by experts, on a wide variety of subject areas such as Climate, Consciousness, Game Theory, Ancient Warfare, Privacy, Islamic History, Economics, and Literary Theory. They provide information on these topics at a level somewhere between reference materials and higher academic works. This resource can be browsed by title or subject. There is also a basic keyword search and an advanced search with fields such as full text keyword, author, and book or chapter title, which can be combined using Boolean operators (AND, OR, and NOT). You can also create a personal account which will allow you to save content and searches for future use. Laurier Library subscribes to the full collection of over 500 titles in five modules: Science & Mathematics, Art & Humanities, Social Science, Law, and Medicine & Health.
