Interface change: All EBSCOhost resources will see a major change in the interface in July 2025 (postponed from January 2025). Personal accounts on that platform should be transferred over with minimal disruption.
CINAHL (or Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) is one of the key biomedical indexes, with a focus on nursing and allied health subjects, and includes several thousand titles and more than two million records. CINAHL with Full Text provides access to hundreds of journals included in the index. Citations are drawn from health care books, dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, audiovisuals, and book chapters.
As with other indexes hosted on the EBSCOhost platform, this resource can be searched using several fields (e.g. all text, title, author, major and minor subject heading terms, age groups, etc.) and combined using Boolean connectors (AND, OR, and NOT). Full text content at the journal level from this resource are indexed in our Omni catalogue but articles are not.
Laurier Library provides access to this resource through an OCUL consortial deal.
