What's New at the Library

The Robert Langen Art Gallery at Wilfrid Laurier University is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition, Haptic Voices, presented in collaboration with artists David Bobier and Jim Ruxton of VibraFusionLab, an arts-based public studio in Hamilton, Ontario, recognized for its innovative work in multi-sensory artistic practices.

The Laurier Library is proud to announce the launch of a dynamic new community photography exhibition, Question or Answer? featuring the captivating street and architectural works of three acclaimed Waterloo Region artists: Stephen Edgar, Joe Martz, and Rob Waldeck. 

Renowned Métis visual artist Jason Baerg opens the Nîkânitisaham ᓃᑳᓂᑎᓴᐦᐊᒼ S/he Sends it Ahead exhibit at the library's Robert Langen Art Gallery this fall. 

Laurier Archives and Special Collections is pleased to announce new archives, special collections, and rare books available to researchers in September 2025.

Dr. Danita Burke is the recipient of the 2023 Joan Mitchell Travel Award. Dr. Burke is a Research Fellow at the University of Southern Denmark and the founder of Women in the Arctic and Antarctic.

The Waterloo Campus Library will be operating under extended hours for exams. 

Starting March 14, 2025, 5:00 pm access to the Waterloo campus library will require use of OneCard. This will go on until end of day Monday March 17. Tap your OneCard on the bollard to access the library.

Freedom to Read Week is an annual event that encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom
