Literature Online

This resource contains a vast collection of full text prose, poetry and drama works in English from the eighth century onwards, plus literary works in journals, links to EEBO and ABELL, criticism, reference material, and multimedia. Content is searchable via a simple keyword search function, as a whole or within certain broad categories, the results of which can then be filtered by type of content or source. Material is also browsable by author, text type, source, or reference information type. The interface for this product was updated in December 2013 and then it was moved to the general ProQuest platform in February 2019 (with the previous interface discontinued in August 2019).
