Chris Woodley received his Master of Library and Information Studies from Western University in 2008. He also holds a Bachelor of Education from Western University and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo.

Before joining the Laurier community in 2026, Chris worked at Conestoga College in a variety of academic library roles, most recently as Manager, Access & Education (Library Services). Through this work, he developed extensive experience in managing electronic resources, library systems, and information literacy services that support teaching and learning.

Chris’s professional interests centre on facilitating access to digital collections and discovery environments that connect users with resources for teaching, learning, and research. His work focuses on the practical application of library technologies to improve access and reduce barriers.
