Produced by the Sport Information Resource Centre SPORTDiscus provides citations, with selected abstracts, to the world's literature in sport and fitness including sports medicine, applied physiology, training, sport techniques, coaching, doping, biomechanics, sport management, economics, history, biography, physical fitness and recreation. Sources include periodicals, books, conference proceedings, dissertations and theses, research papers and other publishing forms (including websites and audiovisual material). SPORTDiscus includes citations to the Microform Publications collection of dissertations and theses of the International Institute for Sport and Human Performance at the University of Oregon and citations from the defunct Sport & Leisure bibliographic database of SIRLS (Specialized Information Retrieval and Library Services). Subfiles, Atlantes, Catalogue du Musee Olympique, and Heracles. which were formerly seen as separate files, are still available within Sportdiscus.
