Class viewing: Videos from this collection can be shown in class.
This is an online collection of video available for the study of social work, psychotherapy, psychology, and psychiatric counseling. Containing over 600 hours and more than 600 videos, the collection is drawn from the catalogues of Microtraining Associates, Psychotherapy.net, and the University of Manchester Department of Psychiatry. The database includes counseling sessions and demonstrations with filmed footage of actual therapy sessions or re-enacted therapy sessions; these videos often include narration and frameworks that put the sessions into theoretical context. In addition, consultations, lectures, presentations, and interviews of well-known therapists discuss counseling work and a range of issues affecting the larger fields of mental health and wellness.
Laurier Library provides access to volumes I & II.
