This is the digital archive for the newspaper, The Toronto Star, including past versions of it. It includes editorial and opinion pieces, advertisements, want ads, birth and death notices, in addition to news stories. The archive was created by scanning the original records from microfilm print masters. Search up to five years at a time. Search for keywords, phrases and subjects; the results are highlighted in yellow on the page image of the newspaper as it was originally published. Since the "titles" of the records in this collection are not titles of the articles but rather the date of the issue and the page number, to search for a subject, you need to search "Anywhere" or in "Document fulltext -- FT".
