Our Ontario: Newspapers

This resource provides access to full text newspapers from communities around Ontario. Actual coverage varies by publication, with many extending back to the 19th century. Select "About our newspaper collections" on the main page for a title list. 

Newspaper content is searchable using the basic search or by an advanced search function which includes Boolean operators; title subject or name searching; limiting to before, after or a range of dates; limiting to very specific geographical locations; and selecting a media type.
