Resource Overview Alternate Title(s): Federal Science Library Link to Resource Connect to Resource This resource provide access to services and the ability to search the print collections and repositories of seven science-based Canadian federal government departments and agencies: Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) Health Canada (HC) National Research Council Canada (NRC) Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), and Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). There is a basic keyword search function on the first page, and an advanced search function allowing multiple first to be combined with Boolean operators, plus limiters such as publication date range, content type, and language. Results lists provide filters to refine your search with some key quick fliters such as "Full Text Online" and "Peer Review", plus others like content type, discipline, publication date, and subject terms. The collection search function is provide freely, however there may be results that are not available to the general public or directly to Laurier Library patrons.
