Project Muse provides access to full-text scholarly journals in the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, economics, and others. New content is being added. Project MUSE was launched in 1995 by the Johns Hopkins University Press, in collaboration with the Milton S. Eisenhower Library at Johns Hopkins University, to offer the full text of JHUP scholarly journals via web. In 1999, Muse expanded to become a partnership of not-for-profit publishers.
