In ProQuest (e.g. if you are searching in any of the Canadian newspapers above) you can limit to News articles using the Filters on the left side menu:

1. Run your search
2. Look for the Document type filter at the left side of the page
3. Select the "News" filter

In Gale (if you are searching The Guardian or The Washington Post) you can limit to news articles as follows:

1. Run your search
2. On the results page at the right side, Filter your results by Document type - Articles

In Nexis-Uni (New York Times, Times of India) you can limit to news by:

1. Typing in your terms in the topmost search box (don't type in the lower box in the "Guided Search" section)
2. At the right side of the page, at "All Content Types", selecting News > Newspapers
