LaTeX and BibTeX

• a freely available typesetting system that produces professional looking publications
• useful for writing documents that contain mathematical formulas or equations
• create documents with LaTeX using an editor or just using a plain text editor
• prepare your text using special commands to produce effects such as heading styles, bold or italic emphasis, mathematical symbols etc.
• files are formatted as .tex files (do not use accents or spaces in the file name)
• the source code generates printable PDFs that comply with editorial standards
