The Library Undergraduate Research Award Committee has announced this year's award winners, for work done in 2023. Congratulations to the award recipients!
Junior Award
- First prize: Sarah Mehyo, for Intercultural, Inter-religious Understanding: Is there a space in between? (Department of Education)
- Second prize: Timna-Sera Habta, for Television’s Impact on the American Civil Rights Movement (Communication Studies)
Senior Award
- First prize: Sophia Starkey, for Dead or Alive: Nuns and Convent Life in Renaissance Italy (History Department)
- Second prize: Jacob Speers, for Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance of Nanostructures: Synthesis & Biological Sensing (Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry)
The Library Undergraduate Research Awards are given to recognize undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional use of any library's resources as part of their regular coursework.
