Michael Steeleworthy

I manage the Library's research data services.  This includes data management planning, data curation and data archiving, and training and consultation.  I offer training and consultation on metadata, file management, intermediate storage and long-term archive, as well as open access and open data.  I work considerably with the national Research Data Alliance of Canada and co-chair its Curation Expert Group

My portfolio also includes liaison services for data and statistics.  I help users discover, access,and use socioeconomic datasets.  I am the university's liaison to the Statistics Canada Data Liberation Initiative (DLI).
