ODESI: Get Canadian Socioeconomic Microdata for your Research

ODESI is the Laurier Library's archive for socioeconomic microdata and public opinion polling data.  We have over 5000 datasets from Statistics Canada and many Canadian polling agencies.  If your research requires to to access and manipulate survey and census data using a platform like SPSS, Stata, R, or SAS, you will find your data in ODESI, for use for free.

This webinar will introduce you to ODESI and show you how to find and then download your microdata for use.  We'll show you how to browse, how to power-search, and which files you need to download.  Example data files will include the 2021 Census, the Canadian Community Health Survey, and the monthly Labour Force Survey.
