Communicating your research effectively, whether in a dissertation, conference paper, or journal article, can be helped by leveraging some esoteric features built into word processors. This session will give an overview of some of these features. You’ll be taught how to use templates and stylesheet features of Microsoft Word (Windows), whether of your own creation or provided by a journal publisher. You’ll also learn access keys to operate Word at blazing speeds and how to structure your documents to be more accessible. This will both improve your productivity and ability to create more accessible documents. (These skills will be helpful for teaching too.)
