Mask-Only Instruction and Study Spaces in the Library

Laurier has designated that masks are required for any indoor activity that is part of academic course delivery (e.g. activities within instructional spaces). Instructional spaces in the Library that require mask wearing include:
- 1st floor - Instructional Space β Archives Reading Room
- 2nd floor - Instructional Space β Learning Lab L-207
- 2nd floor - Instructional Space β Maker Space L-205
- 3rd floor - Instructional Space β Instruction Room L-314
Laurier has designated some mask-only study spaces for students who choose to wear masks. For the Waterloo campus Library, Floors 3 and 4 are designated as masking required floors.
These masking requirements take effect the first day of fall term, Thursday September 8.
Masks remain optional in all other areas of the Waterloo Library, the Kitchener FSW Library and the Brantford Digital Library and Learning Commons (DLLC)
