Library Resources and Services
Using the Library
You can access thousands of resources through the Library, including articles, books, films, newspapers, and more.
- Visit the Library website, where you can use the Omni search tool.
- Omni tutorials give quick help.
Course Reserves
- Login to Course Readings and access materials for specific courses.
Updates and New Services
- Check out the Library COVID-19 Services Update page for current information about on-campus access to the Library.
- New services include: Books to Go, Scan on Demand, and Mail on Demand.
Help with Research
Subject Librarians
Find your subject librarian from the list of subject areas and get in touch by email for research support with your coursework, thesis, dissertation, MRP, etc.
Subject Guides
Each subject area also has its own subject guide that includes discipline-specific resources like databases for scholarly articles.
Workshops and Tutorials
Register for live online Library ASPIRE workshops such as:
- Planning a Literature Review
- Citing Insights: Cites to Help you Cite
- Finding Legislation and Its Analysis
You can also register in a self-paced course called “Library Research Workshops”:
- Sign into MyLearningSpace.
- Click on Self Registration in the top navigation bar.
- Choose “Library Research Workshops” from the list of course options.
There are lots of short video tutorials available too!
A Tip!
You can access completed theses and dissertations from other students in your discipline from Scholars Commons @ Laurier.
