Talk About Burnout – Discussion of Rebecca Pope-Ruark’s, Unraveling Faculty Burnout: Pathways to Reckoning and Renewal

Start Time: Thursday, February 9, 2023 3:00pm

End Time: Thursday, February 9, 2023 5:15pm

Faculty often consider overwork as a badge of honour and overlook individual coping strategies. “Higher education will take as much as you give it”. Together, we can examine the system itself and the risk of faculty burnout.

Please join us in the Robert Langen Art Gallery, Laurier Library, Main Floor from 3-5 PM on Thursday, February 9th, 2023 for a discussion of Rebecca Pope-Ruark’s new book: Unraveling Faculty Burnout: Pathways to Reckoning and Renewal.

The Laurier Library has provided free access to the electronic book for everyone at Laurier. Even if you have not had a chance to read the book, we still encourage you to attend.

Light Refreshments provided.

Event sponsored by the Laurier Library and the Women’s Faculty Colleague at Waterloo.
