ARTIST BIO

Born in 1970, Areg Elibekian graduated from the Institute of Drama and Arts, Yerevan, Armenia. He is the youngest of three generations of world-famous Armenian artists, son of Robert and grandson of Vagharshag. Elibekian often travels to Paris to paint the exquisite beauty of the city. His compositions are rich in colours and often depict Impressionist influences of bourgeoisie open-air scenes, café society and street life. In his landscape works, we see condensed landscapes of peaceful riverfronts, gardens and city brasseries that evoke the memories of a bygone lifestyle. One Life: Four Seasons takes viewers on a journey that reflects the vibrancy and energy of the world around us.

Like his father and grandfather, Elibekian’s artwork is included in various private and public museums/galleries collections.
