New Course Resources Platform Now Available

Laurier Library has a new Course Resources platform which replaces the old Ares system that many of you are familiar with. The new platform is fully integrated with Omni and My Learning Space for easy access to library materials.

6th floor closed from July 27 for 4 weeks

The 6th floor of the Laurier Library Waterloo is getting new carpet and will be closed starting Wednesday, July 29th for approximately 4 weeks. 

Service disruptions Saturday, July 25

On Saturday, July 25th between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., there will be intermittent outages to the services listed below as ICT carries out a disaster recovery exercise. Omni, room booking, course resources, and off-campus access may be inaccessible during this time.

Haptics Voices exhibition runs April 4, 2026

The Art exhibition, Haptic Voices, is open until April 4th. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with artists David Bobier and Jim Ruxton from VibraFusionLab, an arts-based public studio from Hamilton, Ontario, renowned for its innovative exploration of multi-sensory artistic experiences.

Caroline Meier is the recipient of the 2025 Joan Mitchell Travel Award

Caroline Meier is the recipient of the 2025 Joan Mitchell Travel Award. Meier is a PhD student from Augsburg University and the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development in Germany. Her research investigates the global environmental discourse in the post-war area and how the United Nations affected international relations and power distribution.
