Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL) is the platform Gale-Cengage uses to provide access to many electronic books including this one. Published by St. James Press in 2013, this second edition contains almost 300 entries on various brands with details about their origins, initial marketing, commercial development, and current status. Brands included were selected on the basis of public awareness, financial valuation, sales and market share, and future potential.
