Exhibition: Transend: Meeting Room

Transend: Meeting Room is a mixed media installation by London Ontario based artist and activist Ron Benner. It relates to the investigations explored in the 1970's concerning the unacknowledged histories of Native American food production prior to European contact in 1492. In conjunction with the exhibition, the artist, in collaboration with the Laurier Library, has reated a permanent, site-specific photographic garden installation in the Library's sunken garden.

October's talk features Andrea Cartwright, CEO of Breakout Escape located in Cambridge, Ontario.

November's speaker is Jim MacArthur. Jim is a Software Engineer at Nvidia and a programmer with a focus on machine-level coding and graphics engineering. Jim has also worked for Rock Star Games, Digital Extremes, and Ubisoft Montreal.
