The Robert Langen Art Gallery and Wilfrid Laurier University Library are pleased to announce the official launch of Fatima Garzan's art installation, The Space Between Your Thoughts. This installation invites viewers to explore the visual power of the language of pattern, repetition and form.

The Laurier Archives is pleased to announce the winner of the 2016 Joan Mitchell Travel Award. Christine Grossutti is a PhD candidate in the Department of Geography at Queen’s University. The primary focus of Ms. Grossutti’s research is the development of Biosphere Reserves in Canada.

Laurier Archives acquires school memorabilia at Homecoming Founders’ Lunch

Laurier Homecoming is arguably one of the most visible events on campus. Students, alumni and the rest of the school community don the purple and gold, cheer on the football team, dance, eat pancakes and otherwise show their school spirit.

But there is another part of Laurier Homecoming that you may not know about. The Founders’ Lunch is an annual Homecoming tradition that sees President Max Blouw welcome back alumni who have graduated 50 or more years ago so your time will come.

Reporting to Press Director Brian Henderson, Quinn is tasked with providing managerial oversight to the Press’s editorial and production teams, as well as handling acquisitions.

Drew Hayden Taylor named 2016 Edna Staebler Laurier Writer in Residence

Fiction writer and playwright Drew Hayden Taylor has been chosen as Wilfrid Laurier University’s incoming Edna Staebler Laurier Writer in Residence (WIR). Taylor is the award-winning author of 27 books, including adult and young-adult (YA) fiction as well as plays and essays. Taylor will be the fourth writer to hold the WIR position, fulfilling his term at Laurier from January to April 2016.
