Changes to Books to Go Pick-Up Schedule Starting April 1

Starting April 1, the Books to Go pick-up service for Waterloo campus will be changing to two days per week.

Pick-up schedules will continue for Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

Pick-up times will remain the same, 9 am to 11 am.

Bookable Study space for Students and Archives Appointments Open March 1

Following the return to the Red-Control category of Covid-19 Framework for Waterloo Region, the Library is pleased to announce the re-opening of the following in-library services.

Effective Monday March 1st, students will be able to access bookable study spaces in the Waterloo campus library. Students and faculty will also be able to book Archives research appointments for the Laurier Archives to consult collections.

Library online services and resources will be affected by campus wide network maintenance to be held on Saturday February 20, 2021. Periodic disruptions may occur throughout the day as a result of impacts to the university’s single sign on and other authentication systems.

Access to library online resources (ejournals, ebooks, databases, course readings, linking to restricted external resources that require sign in from Omni) may be affected.

No Books to Go pick up for Waterloo on Friday February 19

There will be no Books to Go pick up service on Friday February 19 at the Waterloo campus.

If you receive a Books to Go pick up notice for Waterloo campus on either Thursday February 18 or Friday February 19, your next available pick up time will be: Monday February 22 (2:00 pm – 4:00 pm) or Tuesday February 23 (9:00 am - 11:00am)

Library launches Mail on Demand service

Starting Monday, January 25, 2021, the Library has launched a Mail on Demand service.

Mail on Demand lets Laurier users request books and other circulating collections from Waterloo, Kitchener and Brantford campuses, the Annex remote storage, and the University of Waterloo and University of Guelph.

The Library will mail your request items to you. All students, faculty, and staff can use the Mail on Demand service. The service is available through the Library's Omni search interface.

Additional Times for Books to Go Waterloo Campus Pick Up

The Library is pleased to announce additional times for the Books to Go pick up service at the Waterloo campus to include Mondays and Fridays from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.

The new Books to Go Schedule for Waterloo campus (located in front of the DAWB Building) will start on Monday January 18, 2021. For more information, please see the Library’s Books to Go service page.

Library Undergraduate Research Award 2020 - Call for submissions

The Library is delighted to announce our continuing series of four awards available to any undergraduate student at Laurier.
