Do you have ideas about the library to discuss? Do you have a passion for the Library or experience frustrations that you would like to see changed? Do you want to make the Library an exceptional student space?

Student councilors receive co-curricular credit.

What's discussed?

Topics the council discusses includes:

  • Physical space in the library
  • How can we make the library more accessible?
  • What do could we do to make library services awesome?
  • What are we missing?
  • How can we support students with new technologies?

What’s involved?

The group will meet approximately twice per fall and winter terms (4 times a year). Councillors are expected to attend these meetings, and a minimum of two meetings are required to receive co-curricular credit. Virtual participation can be arranged in advance when requested.

When are the meetings?

Council meetings will usually be held in: October, November, January and March. Most meetings will be held in the early evening after 5pm.
