Library Closed St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

The Waterloo Campus Library will be closing on both Saturday March 16th and Sunday March 17th. This decision is in line with other Laurier campus buildings closures. Building hours at other campus Libraries will be unaffected by this change.

The Library will be open regular operating hours on Friday, March 15 until close at 12:00 am midnight and will reopen on Monday March 18th at 8:15am.

Brantford Public Library closed Monday November 5th

The Brantford Public Library will be closed on Monday, November 5th, 2018 for a Staff Development Day.

Laurier's online resource, course guides, video tutorials, and online chat help will still be available. The study space and group study room, along with in-person librarian help will still be available on the lower floor of Grand River Hall.

Accessible Content ePortal Reaches 15,000 Titles

This week, the Accessible Content ePortal (ACE) service passed a major milestone.

The ACE collection of accessible books for Ontario academic library users with print disabilities has surpassed 15,000 titles. Each of these titles is held by at least one of our 18 participating universities and 21 colleges, and made accessible with the help of our digitization partner, Internet Archive Canada. This collection has grown consistently since the service launched in 2013, with a 50% growth in the last two years.
