Starting Monday August 9th, bookable study spaces will be available for students at the Waterloo campus library. Access to study space will continue as offered in the winter semester until the end of August. Consideration for this transitional summer restart was based on the evolving Regional Public Health guidelines and university health and safety regulations. The health and safety of our campus community remains our top priority.
Students can book study spaces using this Eventbrite link. To ensure everyone’s safety in this transitional return period the requirements for use of library study spaces remain in effect (Safe Hawk self-screening and presenting a green pass badge, mandatory mask wearing, distancing and no food or drink during study period). A limited number of individual study rooms will be available for graduate students and students registered with the Accessible Learning Centre. Please contact the Library’s Ask Us online (chat and e-mail) for more information. Additional guidelines can be found on the Eventbrite ticket and the Library’s website.
Study spaces will be offered at the Waterloo Library at the following times:
Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The Library is currently planning to offer expanded access to library study spaces and in-person services for the start of the fall semester. We will provide more information in upcoming weeks.
