The Laurier Centre for Women and Trans People* is a student service that strives to build a community of people and ideas that challenge and examine gender inequalities. The Centre has a collection of books that are catalogued under the Primo Library system, as well as a growing collection of VHS tapes, CDs and DVDs. Many gender-themed books and journals available in the catalogue are a part of this collection. Located near the Centre of Laurier's Waterloo Campus, the Centre for Women and Trans People* is a short walk from the 7, 8, 9, 12, 29, 200 and 201 iExpress routes. Please visit the Grand River Transit website for schedules and route information.
The Centre for Women and Trans People* is located in MacDonald House Residence, near the Fred Nichols Campus Centre. Parking is available seven days a week in designated parking lots across campus. For parking lot fees and locations, please visit Laurier's Parking and Transportation Resources page. Street parking is also available along Bricker Avenue for three hours or less.
