The Laurier Archives holds the Library's research collection of primary documents, and is the repository of historic records of the University.

The collections focus on the Lutheran Church in the community; the environmental conservation movement in Canada; the history of Kitchener-Waterloo; and the history of Wilfrid Laurier University.

Laurier Library Support for Direct Action

Further to the president’s recent message announcing Wilfrid Laurier University’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, the Laurier Library stands strong with our University community, in solidarity with our faculty, students, staff, and our friends against any form of discrimination, racial injustice, repression, bias, oppression, and persistent inequities faced by Black, Indigenous, and racialized members of our community, within our walls and beyond.

Empty Bowls Online Event

The Robert Langen Art Gallery will be hosting an online edition of their long-running Empty Bowls fundraiser for The Foodbank of Waterloo Region. The event is May 19, 2020 from 11:30 a.m.

Laurier mourns the loss of beloved colleague Julia Hendry

The Laurier Library is deeply saddened by the passing of our Julia Hendry, Head of Archives and Special Collections. Our condolences to her family, friends and colleagues. A service for Julia will be held Monday, April 6 at 1 p.m. via live-stream.
