A celebration of the Laurier Archives’ 10,000th digital image
This one-hour event is a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues, view a selection of beautiful images from our university’s past, and witness the ceremonial unveiling of the 10,000th image in our digital collection, which safeguards Laurier’s institutional memory and shares it with the world.
Remarks by Laurier President Max Blouw and Laurier’s new University Librarian, Gohar Ashoughian, will precede the unveiling of the 10,000th image, and light refreshments will be served.
All members of the Laurier community are welcome. If you are planning to attend, please consider an RSVP to Nicholas Dinka, Library Communications Officer, via email at libevents@wlu.ca or 519-884-0710 ext. 4426 to help us estimate numbers.
