On March 28, 2017, ebooks and other documents on the ebrary platform will be migrated to ProQuest's newer Ebook Central (PQEC) platform. This platform should be easier to use, more powerful in searching for ebook content, and have improved accessibility functionality.
There may be a short downtime in the middle of the day for this migration but, afterward, all ebrary URLs should automatically forward to the same content on the PQEC platform.
If you're simply going into individual titles through links in the catalogue or elsewhere, you may not notice any difference at all but searching the collection will be a little different. As with all interface changes, you may want to play around with the product a little to get used to it, particularly if you've been using ebrary a lot in the past.
(The resource page for PQEC will be available after the migration at https://library.wlu.ca/research-materials/databases/pqec. The current resource page for ebrary will be available for a while after the migration at https://library.wlu.ca/research-materials/databases/ebrary.)
If you have any questions or comments about the change or the new platform, please contact Matt Thomas, eResources Librarian at email@example.com.
