Library to participate in Faculty of Social Work Mental Health Week event

The Canadian Mental Health Association’s (CMHA) Mental Health Week takes place May 1-7, and the Faculty of Social Work is bringing this important national event to the Kitchener campus.

Dr. Jennifer Poole, Associate Professor and Director of the Graduate Program in the School of Social Work at Ryerson University, and Keely Phillips, Manager of Self Help Services, CMHA (Waterloo Wellington), will be giving a talk about mental health and stigma on Friday May 5 at noon.

From Monday May 1 to Friday May 5, be sure to drop by the Library (FSW 002) to check out a display of resources related to mental health.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear two amazing speakers and engage in the conversation! The event is free, and lunch will be provided.
