Community Author is a bi-annual program celebrating the book-publishing accomplishments of Laurier-affiliated authors, connecting them with each other and with a sympathetic audience. The program is free to join and includes a celebratory reception, a pop-up store, Library title acquisition and other author benefits.
When: Author submissions due March 17, 2017 (extended); celebratory reception March 30, 5-6:30 p.m. at the new Robert Langen Art Gallery.
Who: Laurier staff, faculty, students, alumni and retirees who published a book or substantive musical work* in 2015, 16 or 17.

You can also click here to skip directly to the registration form, which takes about four minutes to complete. Have your book handy for reference!
*Attention musicians: this year we are running a small pilot program to include the composers of substantive musical works such as symphonies, concertos and full-length albums as community authors. Depending on how the pilot goes, we may further expand Community Author in future years.
