In the second half of the Winter 2015 term, the Waterloo campus Library will have fewer after-midnight opening hours than in other recent terms.
Hours are being reduced only during times when usage data indicates very low activity at our service desk. The reductions also take into account the availability at the affected times of other study locations on campus, such as the 24 Hour Lounge and Concourse.
The Library will continue to be open 24 hours during the exam period. Hours at our Brantford campus and Faculty of Social Work locations are not affected by the changes.
The changes to after-midnight hours are being implemented to ensure that we can responsibly allocate resources during this difficult time of financial restraint. The library team has been reviewing all services and activities in order to find efficiencies that result in the least possible impact on our users.
