High school student registration

High school students in Waterloo Region are eligible for a free library card, with in-person borrowing privileges at any library within the TriUniversity (TUG) consortium (Laurier, University of Waterloo, University of Guelph). Complete this form or register in person at the Services and Help Desk of the Laurier Library.

Your registration is valid from September 1 - May 30 (renewable for students returning to high school in the fall).

You will receive an email confirmation when your library card is ready to be picked up. Please allow a minimum of one week for processing.

I understand that in accepting the privilege of becoming a borrower with TUG, I accept the responsibility of following the TUG Lending Policy for High School Borrowers: 20 book limit, 2 week loans, return of borrowed materials on or before the due date, the levy of late return fees for overdue items, and the payment of replacement costs for lost or damaged items.  I also understand that my school will be notified of any overdue materials and may impose a sanction that prevents my graduation from high school until these materials are returned and all fines are paid (overdue and/or lost material fines).
